So What is it going to cost?
So, how much is a website anyway? This question is a bit like asking 'how much does a house cost?' Clearly, that requires further investigation before an actual price can be determined. Does it have 2 bedrooms or 4? What about a pool?
While there are lots of factors to consider, we do have an answer: It all epends on what you want the site to do.
Budgetary restraints are a given. But arbitrarily earmarking $550 or $5000 "for the website" is the wrong approach, especially if you don't have a grasp on what website development even costs. Goal achievement probably can't be packed within a $550 job. Likewise, $8000 may be far more than you need to spend - although some firms will take it nonetheless.
If you are merely looking for a site for your existing customers to go to, where you can have the address to the site in all your ads and brochures, a basic wesite will probably serve you nicely. If you want to draw new customers, then Search Engine Submission and Search Engine Optimization becomes a necessary part of the program.
Fortunately, at Shamrock Web Development, we have a program to meet your every need and every budget.
